September 27, 2023 – Hammond Power Solutions has appointed Ted Simpson to the position of vice-president, Marketing. He succeeds Michael Frayne, who is transitioning to the role of senior vice-president, Power Quality and Power Conversion Solutions.

With over 20 years of experience in the electrical industry, Simpson has held key positions at companies such as AD (Affiliated Distributors), where he served as senior vice-president, Marketing, as well as Philips Lighting, where he spent 16 years in a variety of roles, including general manager, Canada, and head of marketing for North America.

“His experience in successfully developing and executing new products and marketing strategies across distribution, consumer and OEM channels utilizing customer and market data will be essential to pioneering new marketing technologies, ensuring execution of our commercial plans,” said David Kinsella, chief commercial officer, HPS.
